Less than one week away from the end of the fiscal year, the Black Bear Fund, which supports student-athlete scholarships, is still accepting donations toward its goal.

With scholarship costs rising to more than $4.5 million, the Black Bear Fund, along with endowed scholarship support, provides critical support for our student-athletes.

If you are considering a gift to Maine Athletics before the end of the fiscal year, you can do so in one of three ways:

1. By visiting our secure, on-line giving page at: https://secure.hypermediadesign.com/mainealumni/secure_forms/athleticsgivingform.htm

(Please be sure to designate your gift in the appropriate space (Black Bear Scholarship Fund, individual sport, etc.)

2. By calling the athletic development office at 207-581-1130 between 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and making a credit card gift .

3. By sending a gift through the mail to: Athletic Development/5747 Memorial Gymnasium/Orono, ME/04469

Please remember that EVERY gift is important. Last year 50% of our gifts were under $100, and these gifts have a cumulative effect on the overall Black Bear Fund and our student-athletes.
