Advantages of Giving

We cannot stress enough the impact that our Black Bear Club members have in the lives of the Maine student-athletes. By making a gift to Maine Athletics, you are getting meaningfully involved with the success of the young men and women of one of America's premier institutions.

• The Black Bear Club is a non-profit group, which allows you to deduct gifts as charitable contributions. 80% of a gift to the Black Bear Club may be deducted unless a benefits waiver is signed in which case, 100% may be deducted. Please consult your tax advisor for details.
• Seating priority is given to Black Bear Club members at men's ice hockey games - the hottest ticket in town!
• Black Bear Club members receive first priority when ordering post season tickets as well.
• Events are held throughout the year where members are able to meet coaches, administrators and Black Bear Club staff.
• Throughout the year, we publish a quarterly newsletter Bear Tracks, which features articles highlighting Maine Athletics as well as pertinent news for our Black Bear Club membership.
