Dennis Doyle '67 Gives to UMaine Athletics As a successful entrepreneur, Dennis Doyle `67 can attest to the excellent business education he received at the University of Maine. His classes provided him with a strong background that went a long way towards helping him launch a handful of thriving businesses. As testimony to the College of Business exposure, he is listed in the U.S. Library of Congress as the author of 65 textbooks on financial planning topics.1965 Football Team Remains Standard Bearers for Black Bear Program When members of the 1965 football team gathered for the start of preseason camp, expectations were modest, at best. The Black Bears, under head coach Harold Westerman, had posted a 5-3 record in 1964, but just a 2-3 Yankee Conference record.
