HEADING INTO 2009: Will challenge for a spot in the starting rotation.
2008: Saw action in 14 games for the Black Bears, earning 11 starts... was 2-5 on the season with a 4.57 ERA... finished second on the team with 64 strikeouts... also finished second on the team in innings pitched with 65... picked up first career win in Maine's 16-7 victory over Delaware State (2/25)... also earned a win against NJIT (4/6) where he went six innings and allowed no runs on just two hits... picked up a save in Maine's 8-7 win over Ohio State (3/8)... recorded a career-high eight strikeouts in four straight games starting March 16 against Monmouth and ending April 12 against Albany.
