HEADING INTO 2007: Will look to solidify a spot in the starting rotation. 2006: Had a strong rookie campaign for the Black Bears appearing in 11 games, starting eight on the mound... named America East Rookie of the Week on May 22 after picking up a pair of conference wins over Hartford and Vermont... finished the season 3-2 with a 5.73 ERA... fanned 21 batters on the season.... pitched five innings against Vermont in the regular season where he allowing just three hits and one unearned run (5/20)... pitched in the final game of the America East Tournament against Stony Brook where he went 7.2 innings, and allowed just two runs (5/27).. earned the start for the Black Bears in the NCAA Regional game against UNC Wilmington (6/3).
