HEADING INTO 2009: Will serve as a captain for the Black Bears... will anchor the defense at second base... is expected to hit in the top of the line-up... should provide speed on the base paths for Maine... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner.

2008: One of just four players to start all 49 games... hit .253 for the Black Bears with 28 runs scored and 20 RBI... had 10 doubles... his 10 doubles were tied for third most on the team... was 2-for-3 with a run scored and one RBI in Maine's 11-2 win over Delaware State (2/24)... had two doubles in the game... was 3-for-6 with a run scored and two RBI in Maine's game against Monmouth (3/16)... finished 3-for-5 with a run scored and three RBI in Maine's 19-1 victory over Husson.... was 2-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI in Maine's 16-5 win over Vermont (5/11). ... was one of just three players on the team to walk more times than he struck out... was 10-for-12 in stolen bases which was third on the team... named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner... named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.
