HEADING INTO 2006: One of the top relief pitchers in Maine history... will serve as the closer for the Black Bears... named a captain of the Black Bears.
2005: Had an outstanding season for the Black Bears... set the Maine record for appearances in a season by a pitcher with 29... posted a record of 2-2 with team-high nine saves on the season... led America East in saves and ranked 38th in the nation... ranks fourth all-time at Maine with 15 career saves, just four shy of the school record... posted a 4.43 ERA... pitched 40.2 innings for Maine and allowed 43 hits... fanned 32 batters on the season... saw action in all three NCAA Regional games at Ole Miss... named a UMaine Scholar-Athlete Award winner and also named to the America East Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
2004: Selected to play for the Canadian Student National Baseball Team that competed at the 2004 Federation Internationale du Sport Universitaire World Baseball Championships held in Tianan, Chinese Taipei... Maine's top relief pitcher during the 2004 season... finished with a record of 4-0 with a 2.14 ERA... led Maine and finished second in America East with six saves... led Maine in appearances with 21... struck out 26 batters on the season while walking just 16... pitched a season-high 3.2 innings against Albany in the America East Tournament (5/28) where he scattered three hits... earned the win in the game... also picked up wins against St. Joseph's (3/9), Iowa (3/14) and Central Connecticut (4/6).... a UMaine Scholar-Athlete Award winner... named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.
2003: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
2002: Posted a 4-1 record and 4.75 ERA in 14 appearances and 47.1 innings pitched...fanned 40 batters and only gave up 20 walks... struck out a season-high five batters against Nebraska Omaha (3/16) and Hartford (5/5).
BEFORE UMAINE: Posted a 13-1 record and 1.11 ERA with Team Ontario, striking out 72 and allowing just 11 earned runs in 69.2 innings of work... won the Bronze medal with Team Ontario at the Canada Cup in both 1999 and 2000... won Tournament MVP honors with his club team while winning the Gold medal at the national championships in 1998... born July 15, 1983... son of Frank and Nancy Robinson... graduated in May 2005 with a degree in kinesiology and physical education major... pursuing his master's of education in kinesiology and physical education.
