Maine To Hold Baseball Selection Show on Monday, May 30 at Chocolate Grill at 11:00 a.m.

ORONO, Maine-- The University of Maine will hold a baseball selection show on Monday, May 30 starting at 11:00 a.m. at The Chocolate Grill in Old Town, Maine. The NCAA will broadcast its baseball selection show starting at 11:30 on ESPN. Maine, which won the America East Tournament Championship, has earned an automatic bid to an NCAA Regional. The Maine team and coaching staff will be at the selection show and available to media. The event is open to the public.

Maine won the 2005 America East Tournament with a 6-5 victory over Vermont in 11 innings on Saturday night in Burlington, Vt. The Black Bears are 34-17 on the season. It is Maine's 14th NCAA Regional appearance and first since 2002.
