Men's Basketball Hosts Boston Celtics' NBA Championship Trophy

ORONO, Maine--The University of Maine men's basketball team hosted the Boston Celtics' NBA Championship Trophy on Wednesday, Sept. 24. Governor Baldacci along with former Celtic great Jojo White and the Celtics dancers and mascot, Lucky, brought the Larry O'Brien Trophy to The Pit where there was a small gathering and photo opportunity. The team then helped at the public viewing at Alfond Arena by directing fans and disbursing ticket vouchers for the youths that were in attendance.
