Men's Basketball Headed to University of South Alabama Tournament

ORONO, Maine--The University of Maine men's basketball team heads to Mobile, Ala. to play the University of South Alabama in the first round of the USA Basketball Classic. South Alabama was in the NCAA Tournament last season, and received votes in the top-25 polls consistently last season. The Black Bears will be led by Mark Socoby (Houlton, Maine) who is second on the team in scoring (12.2 ppg) and rebounding (5.0 rpg). Freshman Gerald McLemore (San Diego, Calif.) leads the team with 12.4 point per game. Sean McNally (Gardiner, Maine) is coming off a huge game against Quinnipiac, as he had nine points, 14 rebounds and three blocks. Fans can catch all the action on the Black Bear Sports Network.
