Men's Basketball Hosting Canisius

ORONO, Maine--The University of Maine men's basketball team hosts Canisius at the Alfond Arena at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Maine will be playing its final non-conference game of the season. Maine is coming off a tough game at Boston College, and will look to get back on the winning track against Canisius. Maine is led by junior guard Mark Socoby (Houlton, Maine) who is leading the team with 13.1 points per game. Freshman Gerald McLemore (San Diego, Calif.) is second on the team with 12.9 points per game and is a sharp-shooter from behind the arc. Canisius is led by preseason All-MAAC Third Team selection Frank Turner who is leading the team in points (14.0 ppg) and assists (3.8 apg).
