There will be four 10-minute stations teaching the following skills: kicking and punting, speed and agility, throwing and catching, and running with the ball. "The Black Bear Experience and youth day is a great way for Maine football to reach out to the community and embrace the fans and future of the state of Maine and help these young people develop their football fundamentals," said Head Coach Jack Cosgrove. "The Black Bear Experience gives them a chance to develop some camaraderie with the players." All pre-registered participants are asked to check in at Alfond Stadium beginning at 9:30 a.m. Participants are encouraged to wear sneakers and a Maine T-shirt or sweatshirt, with shorts or sweatpants. Bear Necessities, the official outfitter for Maine Athletics, will be open throughout the day with Black Bear Football and Maine Athletic merchandise on sale.
