Academic Support Counselor

Crissy Kerluke begins her sixth season in Academic Support Services for Student-Athletes. As the Athletic Academic Counselor for men's ice hockey, Kerluke is responsible for overseeing the educational development and progress towards graduation for the team. She also provides a variety of academic support services including helping the student-athletes access the numerous academic resources available through the University of Maine.

During the 2007-08 season, Kerluke helped lead the team to their best academic year in history, posting a 3.11 grade point average for the year. The team also led Hockey East All-Academic Team selection, with 16 student-athletes posting a 3.0 gpa or higher in both semesters. Kerluke has also been helping improve the team's graduation rates, including assistance to former players who left early to play professional hockey.

Kerluke also works with women's ice hockey, field hockey, men's soccer and part of the football team. A native of St. Agatha, Maine, Kerluke has a degree in psychology from Maine in 2003. She resides in Hermon with her husband, Maine Associate Head coach, Dan.
