 Maine Hockey Fan Bus to NCAA Frozen Four
March 25, 2007 The Maine men's ice hockey team advanced to the Frozen Four, which will be held in St. Louis, Missouri April 5th through the 7th. The athletic department will once again be chartering a fan bus trip to the games. In the first round, Maine will face Michigan State on Thursday, April 5th at the Scottrade Center with the Frozen Four final to be held Saturday, April 7th at 7 p.m. The other two teams to advance to the Frozen Four are North Dakota and Boston College. The Maine fan bus departs on Tuesday, April 3rd from the Alfond Arena parking lot at 7 p.m. and will return Saturday, April 7th at the conclusion of the championship game. Cost of the trip, which includes the bus trip to and from St. Louis and game tickets for each match-up is $640 per person. The Department of Athletics will secure rooms at a local hotel for all travelers in the vicinity of the Scottrade Center. Cost of the hotel is the responsibility of the traveler. Travelers should plan on three nights lodging. A minimum number of 30 individuals is required for the bus trip. If less than 30 people sign up the bus trip will NOT take place.
