Men's Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

ORONO, Maine--The University of Maine men's soccer team will play several spring games and also host an Alumni Tournament over the next two months. The Black Bears kick off play against NTC Nova Scotia U-17 Team on March 18 in a game that will be played in the Mahaney Dome starting at 7:30 p.m. "The players and staff are excited by the challenge of our spring schedule," said Maine head coach Pat Laughlin. "All of our players will get a great opportunity to play and improve this spring." On Saturday, March 22, Maine will host an Alumni 8 v 8 Tournament from 12-7 p.m. in the Mahaney Dome. Any alumni that are interested in participating should e-mail Coach Laughlin at pat.laughlin@umit.maine.edu for more information. Maine will play in spring tournaments three weekends in April. On April 5, Maine travels to UMass Lowell for a pair of games. The Black Bears will play Providence at 1:15 p.m. and UMass Lowell at 2:30 p.m. The games will consist of 30 minute halves. On April 19, Maine will play Southern New Hampshire University at 11:30 a.m. and the University of Rhode Island at 2:00 p.m. The games will be played at Cape Elizabeth High School in Cape Elizabeth, Maine on the Field Turf. Maine concludes its spring schedule with a pair of games at Husson College on April 26.
