Men's Track and Field Competes at Valentines Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. -- The University of Maine men's track and field team competed at the Valentines Invitational at Boston University this past weekend. Jeff Ramos was the highest Maine finisher with a tie for fourth in the high jump. Ramos had a leap of 6'6" tying Shawn Leonard from URI. Maxwell Ludwig finished 16th in the 55m hurdles with a time of 8.0 seconds. Skip Edwards placed 17th in the 400m dash with a time of 49.06 seconds. Thomas Williams placed 27th in the long jump with a leap of 20'3.5". Matthew Holman was the 31st place finisher in the 500m run with a time of 1:06.69. Joshua Mimmovich led the way for the Black Bears in the shot put with a toss of 42'2".
