![]() Cross Country Competes at Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, N.H.--The University of Maine men's and women's cross country teams both placed fifth at the Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday. Riley Masters (Bangor, Maine) led the men's team with a 15th place finish while Corey Conner (Townsend, Mass.) and Hilary Maxim came in sixth and seventh, respectively, to pace the women's side. Masters ran the eight kilometer men's course in 26:45.70 while Conner ran the five kilometer women's course in 20:47.60 closely followed by Maxim's time of 20:50.30. Among the other top finishers on the men's side were Corey Bean (Cornville, Maine) who came in 20th and Chris Harmon (Scarborough, Maine) who placed 36th. On the women's side, Chelsea Leeman (Brunswick, Maine) and Stephanie Jette (Lovell, Maine) placed 34th and 35th, respectively. The cross country teams return to action Saturday when they travel to UMass for a 10 a.m. meet.
