The Black Bears enter Tuesday's contest with a 12-10 overall record and a 6-5 mark in America East. The conference mark puts the Black Bears a half-game ahead of Vermont (15-8, 5-5 AE) for sole possession of third place in America East.

Senior guard Ashley Underwood (Benton, Maine) has been an offensive force for the Black Bears in the last three games and was named the America East Player of the Week on Monday. She averaged 24.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in pair of Maine victories last week, including a 71-63 triumph over Albany (Wednesday) and a 59-56 win over Binghamton (Saturday).

Classmate Bracey Barker has also been solid for Maine during the last two games as she is averaging a double-double (17 points, 10 rebounds) during that span.
