The University of Maine women's basketball team will play host to Stony Brook on Saturday afternoon at 12 p.m., in Alfond Arena. The game will mark "Think Pink" day, as the Black Bears will recognize the courageous battle against breast cancer. Fans wishing to purchase tickets can do so by calling 581-BEAR or toll-free (800) 756-TEAM.

Maine will wear pink t-shirts during warm-ups and pink shoe laces during the game. All fans are encouraged to wear pink clothing to support the cause. Bear Necessities, the athletic department's official merchandise store, will also be holding a 20% off sale on all pink-related items during the game.

The Black Bears and Seawolves enter with identical 6-17 overall records. Maine is 3-7 in America East, while Stony Brook is 1-9. The teams are meeting for the 15th time overall with the series knotted at 7-7. SBU has won five-straight in the series, including a 72-65 win in Stony Brook, N.Y., last month (Jan. 16).

The game will feature a pair of players who lead America East in their respective statistical categories. Maine senior guard Kris Younan leads AE in steals (2.2), while Seawolves forward Dana Ferraro leads the league in rebounding (9.3).
