The University of Maine women's basketball team will travel to Vestal, N.Y., to face Binghamton on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., at the Events Center. The Black Bears enter the contest with a 7-18 overall record and a 4-8 mark in America East. The Bearcats come in with an 8-16 mark and a 6-5 record in the conference.

A Maine win would give the Black Bears the regular season sweep over Binghamton. Maine knocked off the Bearcats, 63-50, back on Feb. 2, in Alfond Arena in Orono. Brittany Boser, Amanda Tewksbury and Emily Rousseau each scored a game-high tying 15 points in the contest.

The Black Bears are coming off a loss at Boston University on Tuesday night, while the Bearcats dropped a tough game to Hartford on Wednesday.

Maine junior forward Colleen Kilmurray has led Maine in scoring in each of the last two games and is averaging 14.0 points per game during that span. Sophomore guard Amanda Tewksbury has scored in double-figures in five-straight games. Kilmurray leads the team in rebounding at 5.3 rebounds per game, while Tewksbury leads the squad in scoring in conference plat at 12.1 points per outing.

Binghamton center Laine Kurpniece leads her team in scoring at 12.0 points per game, and rebounding at 5.5 boards per contest.

The game can be heard live throughout the state of Maine on the Black Bear Sports Network. Fans outside the state can listen to the game live over the internet at www.GoBlackBears.com(.)
