**Central Connecticut State was picked to finish 11th in the Northeast Conference (NEC) prior to the start of this season. Maine went 1-1 versus teams from the NEC last season, including a 58-47 win at St. Francis (N.Y.). This season, the Black Bears will face two teams from the conference, including defending champion Robert Morris on Dec. 3, in Alfond Arena. RMU was picked to win the league again this season.
