Zdrojesky, Flaherty Named to All-Region Team
Earn Second Team Honors

ORONO, Maine- University of Maine field hockey players Amy Zdrojesky (East Greenville, Pa.) and Katie Flaherty (Winslow, Maine) were each named to the 2006 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I All-Northeast Region Second Team released recently.

Zdrojesky, a junior, was named to the America East First Team and also received America East All-Tournament team honors. She scored four goals and added five assists for 13 points on the season.

Flaherty, a senior co-captain, was named to the America East Second Team this season and also received All-Tournament team honors. She scored one goal and added six assists for eight points on the season.

The Black Bears finished with a record of 8-11 on the season. Maine played in the America East Championship game for the fourth time in the past five years.
