Maine fell to 4-27-3 and 3-15-3 in Hockey East while Vermont improved to 8-25-1 and 4-16-1 in Hockey East. Junior goaltender Genevieve Turgeon broke a school record for saves in a single season. The record was previously held by Lara Smart who set the previous mark of 895 in the 2003-04 season.          <description><![CDATA[WAKEFIELD, Mass. - For the sixth week this season, University of Maine junior goaltender Genevieve Turgeon was named Hockey East's Pure Hockey Defensive Player of the Week. Turgeon stopped 80 out of 83 shots in Maine's two games against Boston College this weekend with 39 coming in the first game and 41 coming in the second. She had a save percentage of .964 and a GAA of 1.46 on the weekend. Turgeon has six weekly awards and one monthly award so far this season.]]></description>
