Karine Senecal is back for her second season as an assistant coach for the University of Maine. For the 2007-08 season she served as a graduate assistant before being named assistant coach in September. Senecal is in charge of organization on road trips, fundraising and community service participation for the players. She also conducts practices for the forwards. Senecal played four years on defense for the University of Maine and had career totals of two goals and 19 assists for 21 points. She was a Maine Scholar-Athlete all four years. She earned the Presidential Pin Award for Human Development and also earned Hockey East All-Academic Team honors both her junior and senior years. Senecal was also named a Top Scholar-Athlete in Women's Hockey East for the 2006-07 season. |
