![]() Kelly Law Honored By Hockey East
March 2, 2007 BOSTON, Mass. - University of Maine women's ice hockey defenseman Kelly Law was named as a selection to the Hockey East All-Star honorable mention team. She was the only Black Bear to receive conference honors this season. Law, a senior from Markham, Ontario, was honored for the third time in her career. As a sophomore she was named to the second team and as a junior earned first team honors. She ended her Maine career with 121 games played which ranks in the top ten all-time at Maine. Her 55 points are the most in school history by a defenseman and her 40 career assists are sixth all-time. Boston College led the league with five selections, while New Hampshire had four selections. Connecticut had three selections. Boston College also picked up Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year honors.
