IN 2007: Had a great second year for the Black Bears...started all 17 games...named to the America East Second Team and the All-Academic team...had the game-winning goal against Holy Cross (9/21)...named a Maine Scholar-Athlete and named to the America East Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.

IN 2006: Had a solid rookie campaign for the Black Bears... started all 20 games for Maine... one of just seven players and two rookies to start all 20 games... scored lone goal in 1-1 tie with nationally ranked UConn (8/27)... part of a Maine defense which was ranked second in the nation in goals against average... named to the America East Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll and a named a UMaine Academic "Rising Star."

BEFORE UMAINE: Two-year captain for coach P. Anagnostoplous at John McCrae Secondary School... captain of the Ottawa Fury U17 Team in 2005... team finished as Woodbridge Showcase champions... played for the Ottawa Fury U17 team in 2004 which finished in second place in the New England Division... attended the North American Finals... also a standout in ice hockey, field hockey and volleyball.

PERSONAL: A biochemistry major... born 12/9/88... daughter of Donald and Eleanor Hodgson... father was part of the 1980 Canadian Olympic cycling team and a National Gold Medalist in 1979, 1980 and 1981.
