Women's Soccer Drops 2-0 Decision to VCU

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The University of Maine women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to VCU on Friday afternoon at William & Mary College in Williamsburg, Va. The Black Bears dropped to 0-2-1 on the season.

June Hartman and Stephanie Power each scored a goal for VCU, which improved to 1-2 in the campaign.

Maine goalkeeper Jasmine Phillips made two saves, but saw her amazing streak of 22-straight games by allowing one goal or less snapped. She made two saves in the setback.

Kelsey Wilson had two shots on goal for the Black Bears, while Hailey Blackburn, Christine LaBelle, Claire Robbins and Veronique Fleury had one each.
