Box Score

BOSTON, Mass.--The University of Maine women's soccer team fell at Boston University by the score 1-0 in the America East semi-finals. Maine finishes the season with a record of 6-6-7 while Boston University improved to 14-5-1. Maine was led by Jasmine Phillips (Nepean, Ontario) who played fantastic in goal, making nine saves.

The two teams battled through an even first half before Boston University's Marisha Schumacher-Hodge knocked one in off a shot that hit a Black Bear defender in the 55th minute.

The Black Bears continued to battle, and nearly tied it with under five minutes left when Christine LaBelle (Nepean, Ontario) hit a rocket to the left side of the net, but Terrier goalie Janie Reilly made a diving save to save the game for Boston University.
