Softball's 2008 Fall Schedule

ORONO, Maine - The University of Maine softball team is getting ready for the 2009 season, and the Black Bears will continue their preparations by going through a six-game fall schedule which begins this Saturday at Mike Kessock Field in Orono. Maine will face Husson on Saturday at 9 a.m., and then take on Thomas College at 2 p.m. All fall exhibitions played at Kessock Field are free and open to the public to attend. The Black Bears travel to Providence, R.I. on Sept. 27, and will take on Rhode Island at 12 p.m., and then square off against Providence College at 2 p.m. Maine concludes its fall schedule on Oct. 4, when the Black Bears take on Southern Connecticut at 1 p.m., and then face the University of Connecticut at 3 p.m. Both games will be played in Storrs, Conn.
