 Former Women's Track Standout Rybalko 24th in Qualifying Round at Olympics

ORONO, Maine--Former University of Maine women's track and field standout Viktoriya Rybalko placed 24th out of 42 in the qualifying round of the long jump at the Beijing Olympics on Monday. Rybalko jumped 6.43 meters (21 feet and one-eighth of an inch) after faulting on her first two attempts. She was representing her native Ukraine in the event.
