Jesse Labreck Named America East Track and Field Performer of the Week

ORONO, Maine--University of Maine track and field standout Jesse Labreck (Oakland, Maine) was named the America East Track and Field Performer of the Week as announced by the conference on Tuesday. Labreck, a freshman, won the long jump with a leap of 18-3.75 feet and the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.40 seconds. She also placed second in the triple jump with a jump of 38-2.25 feet as Maine competed against New Hampshire in a meet on Saturday. The track and field teams continue their seasons on Jan. 9 at the Dartmouth Relays. -U-M-
